Things are hotting up for summer. The Polruan pontoon is out and the boats are in the water. We even saw a Basking Shark off Gribbin Head on the the way to the newly opened Sams on the Beach at Polkerris. Well worth the trip and a great circular walk.

The Lookout is a semi-detached house, dating from before 1771, consisting of a slate floor entrance hall, a twin bedroom, a double bedroom, a bathroom and lounge/kitchen/diner on the top floor. All the main rooms have superb views of Fowey, the estuary and Polruan quay.
Overlooking the quay and Tom's Boatyard; the inspiration for Daphne Du Mauriers "The Loving Spirit"; and town beach of Polruan. The Lookout is ideally situated for making the most of Polruan, Fowey and all other parts of the Fowey Estuary.
Whether you enjoy walking, sailing or just visiting harbours, coves and beaches you can't really be in a better position.
Polruan and Fowey have a wealth of pubs, cafes and restaurants together with a wide range of shops both for everyday items and special things.
